William Clifford Hensley, age 87 of Crab Orchard, WV went home to be with his Savior on Tuesday, August 18, 2026.
Born on December 10, 1938 at Itmann, WV (Wyoming County), he was the son of the late James Crawford Hensley and Mary Violet Coalson Hensley.
Mr. Hensley was a foreman for Eastern Peabody Coal Company for over 20 years, and attended Lego Church of Jesus.
He enjoyed woodworking, and was a very skilled craftsman. He loved gardening, and spending time with his kids and grandkids. He loved nature, feeding the birds, watching the squirrels, riding his four wheeler, and lawn mower with his babies.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Hensley was preceded in death by his best friend and wife of 65 years, Dreama Darlene Sizemore Hensley; his siblings Junior, Emily, Bobby Jean, and Nola.
Those survivors left to cherish his wonderful memory include his sons, Dwayne and wife Angie Hensley, Lane and wife Debbie Hensley, Aaron and wife Melissa Hensley, Shayne and wife Violet Hensley; a daughter Susan Coalson and husband Kenneth; fourteen grandchildren, and thirty-three great grandchildren, all who loved him to the moon and back. Four sisters, Christene and husband Gene, Donnie, Evelyn and Lillian.
According to Mr. Hensley’s personal wishes, no services will be held; just a private send off with his babies, where he will join the love of his life, who awaits him at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
