William Jerry Pavlik

William Jerry Pavlik, age 68, of Sophia, WV passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025 at his home.

Born on September 3, 1956 in Beckley, he was the son of the late David Pavlik and Naomi Surratt Pavlik.

Jerry, as he was known by family and friends, had worked as a custodian for many years.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, NASCAR, and video gaming. Jerry had served in the US Navy.

In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by a brother, Mickey, a grandchild, Samantha Rae Pavlik, and a great grandchild Ryker Lilly.

Those survivors left to cherish his memory include his wife of 24 years, Vivian Gilkerson Pavlik; children, Tesa Lenzer and husband Michael of Cleveland, OH and David Pavlik and wife Danya of Cleveland, OH; stepchildren, Phylichia Cook and husband Jackie of Sophia, Kimberly Perkins of Charleston, and Franklin Perkins and wife Kim of  Oak Hill; a brother Rickey Pavlik and wife Donna of Crab Orchard. Eleven grandchildren two great grandchildren, with two more great grandchildren soon to be born. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
