Yolonda Carol Canterbury

Yolonda Carol Canterbury, age 60, of Beckley, WV died peacefully in her home on Monday, May 11, 2026.

Carol was born December 20, 1965 at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital to mother Mary Webb and father Jimmy Webb of Naoma, WV. Carol was a kind, loving and generous person, who had a heart of gold. She was loved by all  who met her. Carol loved the outdoors, her cats, gardening, and most of all her loved ones.

In keeping with her wishes, Carol was cremated. Carol wanted part of her cremains to be made into jewelry for her loved ones, so that they would know that she was always with them.

Those who will miss her most include her mother Mary Webb; two sisters  Patricia Grogan and Judy Appolinar; her son Jimmy Canterbury and his  children Coby, Seth, and Chloe; her daughter Cammie Allen and her husband Eric, and their children, Andrew,  Cheyanne, Hunter, Destiney, Izabella, Stormie, and Matthew.  She will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews and  friends.

Carol  was preceded in death by her father Jimmy Webb, and her brother James Edward Webb.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Amos E. Quesenberry Peace Chapel of Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home in Beckley, WV on Friday, May 22, 2026 at 7:00 PM. Pastor Joel Harpold will officiate. Friends may visit with the family thirty minutes prior to the services on Friday at the funeral home.
