Andrea Dawn Redden

Andrea Dawn Redden, age 38, of Piney View, WV gained her angel wings on Saturday, April 2, 2022.

Born on May 22, 1983, in Beckley, WV she was the daughter of Jerry and Sarah Redden of Piney View, WV.

Andrea was a 2001 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School. She was of the Baptist faith, and although she had lost her way from time to time, she had Jesus in her heart.

She most recently worked as a caregiver for the elderly, work she loved because of her great compassion for others.

She had a soul as beautiful as she was. She loved her people fiercely and unconditionally. She desired nothing more than peace and happiness and to be a good Mother to her little Bella, her love for her was limitless.

Her care for others continues to shine in her decision to be an organ donor.

Andrea was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Paul and Emogene Redden, her maternal grandfather, James Shaffer and many other family members and dear friends.

In addition to her parents, Andrea leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, the love of her life, Isabella Grace. Maternal grandmother Ruth Shaffer of Piney View, her aunt Mimi (Mary Ann Bolen). Her cousin (sister at heart) Amanda Redden, "Her ride or die." Also, her children, Mak, Azi, Bryston, and Mia who Andrea loved so much. Steve and Rita McMillion who she thought of as her second set of parents growing up. Lifelong friends, Erica Smith and Brittaney Kelly. Her dear friend, Freda Filipek, and three young ladies she loved like her own, Lilly, Maddy and Olivia Scott. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who she loved dearly.

In honor of Andrea's wishes a memorial service to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Grandview State Park. All who loved her are encouraged to attend and share memories of her.
