Patsy Small

Patsy Louise Small, age 67, of Beckley, WV passed away on Monday, March 22, 2021. Born on January 27, 1954 in Beckley, she was the daughter of the late Thurl Hamrick and Louise Cogar Hamrick.

Patsy was employed at WV Glass for over 40 years. She was an active member of the Elks Lodge and the Moose Lodge. She enjoyed meeting new people, talking with friends, and spending time with family. She was an animal lover, especially her cats.

Patsy also enjoyed watching football, the Pittsburgh Steelers and WVU Mountaineers, playing fantasy football, NASCAR and listening to classic country music.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Those survivors left to cherish her memory include her son, Donnie Boyd and wife Marti of Winston -Salem, Nc. Sisters, Paula Boggs from Richwood, WV, Patricia Fleming and husband Paul from Richwood WV, Bobbie Moore and husband Bryan from Canvas, WV, Anna Nicholas and husband Britt from Richwood, WV. Brothers, Michael Hamrick from Hillsboro, WV, Mitchell Hamrick from Richwood, WV, Randy Hamrick and wife Arnetta from Williamsburg, VA, Ronnie Cogar and wife Tammy from Richwood, WV. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A memorial service will be held to Celebrate the Life of Patsy Small on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 4 PM at Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley with Pastor Keith Manning officiating.  Friends may visit with family one hour prior to the services on Saturday at the funeral home.

Facial coverings and social distancing will be observed as mandated by the Governor of the State of WV.
