Sue Shrewsbury

Sunny Sue Shrewsbury ,age 81, of Lanark, WV passed away on Sunday, June 27,
2021 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.

Born on August 9, 1939 at Lockbridge, she was the daughter of the late
Buster Lewis Meadows and Nellie Taylor Meadows.

Mrs. Shrewsbury was a homemaker, and a member of Stanaford Missionary
Baptist Church. She spent her childhood at Lockbridge, and teenage years at
Cool Ridge, having graduated from Shady Spring High School. Mrs. Shrewsbury
enjoyed playing the piano and gardening.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband
Curtis Shrewsbury; by siblings, Lois Ellis, Rosie Robinette, and John Meadows.

Those survivors left to cherish her memory include her son, Steven
Shrewsbury of Oakridge, TN; grandchildren, Justin, Lynsey, Jamie, Taylor,
Alexandra, and Lacie; great grandchildren Jonah and Jessa. Two brothers, Craig Meadows and wife Mary of Sullivan Road, Glen
Morgan, and Les Meadows and wife Barbara of Hickory Valley, TN.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace
Chapel in Beckley, WV on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at noon with Pastor George Wood
officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity,
WV. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services on Saturday
at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be family members and friends.
